Calabash Bash Our Mardi Gras Bash in Calabash is the perfect opportunity to learn a little more about ballroom dancing in Myrtle Beach. If you've been thinking about dancing but feel a bit intimidated, this event is for you. There will be some short lessons, a few demos, lots of social dancing and opportunities to make new friends and get a taste of ballroom dancing on the Grand Strand. And have dinner too. All this for just $15!

Big Band in March  Tickets are now on sale for our Big Band Dance in March. We are capping the sales for this dance at 125 and they are selling fast. Do not wait until the last minute or you will be on the wait list. Ralph Hunn will teach a Foxtrot lesson and our member Rosemary Farrell will perform a FoxTrot/Quickstep Fusion performance with instructor Jason Raimey.

BRUNSWICK SENIOR RESOURCE CENTER BALLROOM CLASSES

BDPS sponsors lessons every Monday afternoon. The lessons are free but the Center in Calabash is a non-profit and they appreciate your contributions so they can continue to provide quality activities such as our ballroom classes. There are collection boxes throughout the center. The intermediate class is held at 1 pm. If you have danced some ballroom before and want to learn more, feel free to join this free class. If you are a beginner, you should come at 2 pm. for the beginner class. Sal is on vacation the next 3 weeks but we have a great substitute for you!lessons in leading and following.
