BALLROOM BUZZ December 16, 2019

We had about 150 at our holiday bash It was a wonderful Holiday Bash! We had a great crowd, with everyone dressed so nice. The food was plentiful. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the music of Larry Tanelli and Claudette. We had a waltz lesson by Jason Raimey, a spectacular performance by Shannon and Norman Howard, a fun raffle and lots of gifts. Our members and dance friends helped make this an awesome event by cooking, baking, shopping, helping at the door, selling raffle tickets, taking pictures, setting up and cleaning up. We couldn't have done it without you!

The next First Thursday Celebrate the New Year with us on January 2 at our first First Thursday Dance of 2020. The DJ will be Joe Durivage. Jason Raimey will continue our Waltz lesson and instruction on how to do a Waltz mixer.

Free waltz lessons at Calabash in December What a great dance class Sal has every Monday afternoon at the Brunswick Senior Resource Center in Calabash. The classes are free; but the Center in Calabash is a non-profit and they appreciate your contributions so they can continue to provide quality activities such as our ballroom classes. There are collection boxes throughout the center. Lessons in December will be Waltz. The intermediate class is held at 1 pm. If you have danced some ballroom before and want to learn more, feel free to join this free class. If you are a beginner, you should come at 2 pm. for the beginner class. The center is located at 10050 Beach Drive in Calabash. The Center is closed Christmas week so there is no class on December 23rd, but there will be classes on December 30th.
