NEXT STEP MONDAY
Living the Resurrection
| | |
In Sunday's sermon, Rev. Colton Castle reflected on Thomas and the disciples’ response to the risen Christ, reminding us that resurrection isn’t about escaping this world, but being transformed within it.
Because Jesus was raised bodily, his life becomes a new template for our own. We are invited not just to believe, but to participate in the divine life by living each day aware of God’s presence.
Your Next Step this week: Set aside intentional time to seek God’s presence. Slow down, pay attention, and practice living each day with the awareness that God is with you.
| Catch Next Step Monday every week on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. | A SPECIAL NIGHT FOR FEED LAKE HIGHLANDS | | Last week, Feed Lake Highlands was featured at the Dallas Stars game, where more than $13,000 was raised to support their mission. Several FLH staff and local families watched the game from a donated suite, with some experiencing their first hockey game. It was a joyful night, and we are grateful for the support shown to this ministry. | | Easter Sunday was filled with joy as our church gathered to celebrate the resurrection together. During our family-friendly worship, children experienced the Easter story through hands-on creativity, led us in worship, and celebrated the resurrection with streamers at the close of the service. It was a meaningful day for all ages, and we are grateful for everyone who joined us to proclaim, "Christ is risen!" | | Ready to put your faith into action? Here are a few ways you can love and serve others this week. | | |
SUPPORT KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY
Help create a life-changing weekend inside prison walls.
| | Kairos Prison Ministry offers a three-day weekend where men in prison experience Christian community, encouragement, and the reminder that they are not forgotten. This ministry continues beyond the weekend through ongoing prayer and support. | | | |
You can be part of this meaningful work in simple, tangible ways:
-
Sponsor a meal ($5) or a participant ($175). Donations may be made by cash or check payable to Kairos Prison Ministry.
-
Bake homemade cookies to be shared during the weekend. Drop off by Sunday, April 26 at the Kairos table in the Narthex.
-
Commit to pray and add your name and city to the prayer chain, which will be displayed as a visible reminder that each participant is being lifted up in prayer.
Your support helps create space for transformation, reminding each participant that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

Did your kids collect a pile of plastic eggs last week? We’d love to reuse them next Easter.
Bring your empty plastic eggs and drop them in the buckets in the Narthex or at Entrance D anytime over the next few weeks. Thank you for helping us prepare for next year!
