El martes 14 de diciembre, nuestro Presidente, Lcdo. Luis Gierbolini y el Presidente Electo, Cameron McKenzie, se reunieron a tomar un café en la Fraternidad AFDA con el Consejo Asesor de Expresidentes, los pilares de nuestra Cámara de Comercio de Puerto Rico. Asistieron el Lcdo. y CPA Kenneth Rivera Robles, Edgardo Rubén Martínez, Sr. Ángel Morey, Ing. Raúl Gayá, Sr. Manuel Morales, Hijo, Lcdo. y CPA Jorge Cañellas, CPA David Rodríguez, Sr. José Ledesma y el Ing. José Miguel Izquierdo Encarnación.

El Consejo Asesor de Expresidentes esta integrado por todos los Ex-presidentes de la Institución.

Actua como cuerpo asesor del presidente, de la Junta Directiva y del Comité Ejecutivo a petición de cualquiera de éstos. Hace las recomendaciones necesarias al presidente sobre cualquier posible conflicto de intereses que menoscaben la imagen, el prestigio o la misión de la institución.

Componentes de Salud, Seguridad y Transportación están listos para evento del 31 de diciembre  

(15 de diciembre de 2021) El gobernador Pedro R. Pierluisi, junto a la directora ejecutiva de la Autoridad de Distrito de Convenciones de Puerto Rico (ADCPR) Mariela Vallines, anunciaron este miércoles los detalles del evento De Puerto Rico para el Mundo, el 2022 comienza aquí. Esta actividad reunirá en los escenarios del Distrito de Convenciones a artistas locales para despedir el 2021 y, por primera vez, se transmitirá a todo Estados Unidos, y otros países, desde un destino de habla hispana.

Reflecting on an unusual and difficult year

When Paul and I were starting Microsoft, we had a vision that personal computers would one day play a significant role in people’s lives. The FDA amended the emergency use authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to allow for the use of a single booster dose for people ages 16 and 17 after completion of primary vaccination with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.

The FDA-authorized Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine and the FDA-approved Comirnaty (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA) are the only COVID-19 vaccines currently available for people ages 16 and 17. Individuals ages 16 and 17 should only receive the Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine or Comirnaty as their booster dose.

on social media

While scrolling through social media, ad comes up for the cutest personalized product. It could be a clothing item with a loved one's name on it, a keychain with a favorite pet’s face, or a paint-by-numbers kit made from a provided photograph. Whatever the case, you click the link to the company’s website. Everything looks legitimate, so you make the purchase with great anticipation.

However, when the order arrives (if it arrives at all), it’s not the quality that was expected nor imagined. The personalization might contain errors, or the product may be completely different from what the website described.

Who Really Pays the Tariffs? U.S. Firms and Consumers, Through Higher Prices

When the Trump administration imposed tariffs on various imports in 2018, the stated purpose was to boost U.S. industries and punish foreign exporters. But rather than hurting foreign exporters, the economic evidence shows it is American firms and consumers hardest hit by the Trump tariffs. The tariffs resulted in higher prices for a wide variety of goods that U.S. consumers and businesses purchase. The Biden administration has continued and even increased many of the Trump tariffs—drawing some attention as inflation rises. And while tariffs do raise prices for American consumers, their impact on economy-wide inflation is relatively small.
