Updating your email preferences allows you to control your experience with our new marketing tools. Please note that the Broadcast and Need/Want tools are marketing emails sent by your fellow CBA members and are different preferences from your email Hot Sheet alerts, which are completed through your saved searches.

To update your preferences, first sign in to the CBA website, then click "Search Commercial Listings."
Once you are on the listings and search platform, you can locate your email marketing preferences for Broadcasts and Need/Wants in two areas:

The first is by clicking “Email” on the top black banner of your screen. From here you should see “Preferences” in the upper left-hand corner.
The second option is located on your new broker dashboard, which can be located by selecting “Powered by Catylist” in the upper left-hand corner. Then click “Adjust My Email Preferences” in the “Broadcast Email” section.
Once you are in your Email Preferences, there are a few areas to update.

The first, and most important, is selecting the Market Areas and Types of Interest to which you wish to subscribe. Notice that your account defaults to every type within your state.

If you do not want to receive this broad range of emails, you can remove unwanted subscriptions. You can also add your own subscriptions by selecting from cities, counties, and submarkets and then selecting listing types and asset classes. There is no limit to the number of subscriptions you can create.
The next section allows you to set preferences to control the types and frequency of emails you receive from the marketing tools.
You can also add secondary accounts to receive marketing emails from our members. This will most likely be used if you have an administrator email that is checked more frequently or any alternate account where you would also like to receive notifications.
The final section is a Blocked Senders list. This is completely anonymous and allows you to block marketing emails from specific senders. In some cases, your default filters will be exactly as you want them, but you may still receive member emails that do not meet your current business needs. You will see the sender’s email address on the marketing email you received. Simply copy and paste that address to your Blocked Senders list to stop receiving emails from that user.
