Why have cinder block when you can keep it green? We're letting the City Council know that we support a 'living wall' sound and pollution barrier between the I5 and LA river.

LAUSD Strategic Plan
From the learning, assessing, communicating and actions of the first 100 days, Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho is leading the development of a 2022-2026 Strategic Plan that will define how we will close opportunity gaps and ensure success for all students at Los Angeles Unified for the next four years.

We need your input!

In order for us to prioritize how we can best support student success, we need to hear from you and everyone in our school communities. Please participate by sharing your input on our Strategic Plan, 100-Day Plan, and Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) in our Thought Exchange by visiting https://bit.ly/Strat-Plan. When prompted, be sure to select your Community of Schools – Glassell Park/Los Feliz – so that your community is represented.

Your perspective is extremely valuable in ensuring that Los Angeles Unified is creating a plan that will meet the needs of the families, students, staff and community members. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
Non-Violent Response Legislation
We support LA's efforts to create an alternative entity to the LAPD to respond to situations that may not need a police response. How do you feel?

Make your plan to vote in the 2022 Primary Election!
The 2022 Primary Election is right around the corner! Everything you need to make your plan to vote is all in one place at LAVOTE.GOV – the official source of factual election information and voting resources.
Last Thursday we began mailing Vote by Mail ballots to all registered voters in LA County. Track your ballot every step of the way with Where’s My Ballot?, a free subscription that sends automatic notifications by text, email, or voicemail on the status of your ballot.
If you haven’t checked your voter registration information recently, we encourage you to check today to make sure everything is still up to date. Visit LAVOTE.GOV now to confirm your voter registration.
Do you know your voting options? Did you know you can vote early? We can help you make a plan.
  1. Vote by mail: Once you receive your ballot, fill it out, sign the Return Envelope, and send it right back. It’s the easiest and fastest way to vote.
  2. Use a Ballot Drop Box: Avoid lines at a Vote Center by voting early and returning your Vote by Mail ballot at one of 400 Official Ballot Drop Box locations across LA County.
  3. Vote in person: If you prefer to vote in person, save time by voting early. Vote Centers will be open beginning May 28th. You can visit any available location to cast your ballot or to return your completed Vote by Mail ballot.
Stay safe and be heard.
