Dear Prayer Partners,
This is one of the hardest emails we've had to put out in all our years of doing Royal Family Kids Camp. Today, we are having to shut down camp due to some illnesses that were starting to spread throughout camp. We worked with the Akiva Management and all of the nurses to lean on them for guidance. It was decided that to be safe for the kids, the volunteers and for the Akiva staff, we needed to shut down camp today.
We are asking that you be praying for everyone involved. Pray for wisdom as we make decisions. Pray for good communication as we talk to caregivers and to the kids. Pray for all of our volunteers. Especially pray for those who have become ill that they will get well soon.
Again, one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. However, we know we can count on all of our prayer partners to be praying as you have faithfully done over this last week.
