Attending the Career Fair?

Don’t Just “Show Up” – Show Up with Purpose!

Before the career fair, research the companies attending using your 12twenty account and identify your top 5 employers. Know what they do, what roles they’re hiring for, and how your skills align. Prepare a few tailored questions that show genuine interest – not just “what do you do?”

Bonus Prep: Bring multiple copies of your resume, dress professionally, and practice your 30-second elevator pitch.

Pro Tip: After each conversation, jot down a quick note about who you spoke to and what you discussed – it will make your follow-up on LinkedIn or via email more personal and effective.

Warm wishes,

Kathy
