Sacha Liben '98

Sacha Liben ‘98 has been appointed President of the Discipline Committee for Hockey Québec. In this prestigious role, Sacha will oversee efforts to uphold fairness and sportsmanship within the hockey community.

"I was truly honoured to be entrusted with this position and grateful for the chance to give back to the hockey community, which has given so much to our family. My time at WIC was incredibly meaningful—the friendships I made there are still some of my closest. The skills I learned, like summarizing and notetaking techniques from Mr. Henderson's Study Skills class, have been invaluable throughout my education and career. Even now, I find myself following Mrs. George's essay-writing guidance when drafting my decisions."

Nadine Borduas '03

Nadine Borduas ‘03 is advancing the fight against climate change through her innovative research. As a professor of atmospheric chemistry at the University of British Columbia, Nadine studies how ice clouds form and their impact on the climate.

Her work has been featured in the news, and she has given numerous media interviews, all of which can be found on her research group’s website at www.atmoschemgroup.org .

Alum Career Fair



On November 13th, we were thrilled to welcome 16 alums back to campus to participate in our Alum Career Fair. Alums shared their educational and career paths with secondary five students, offering valuable insights and inspiration for their future paths.

Giving Tuesday 2024 Update



Thanks to the incredible generosity of our WIC community, Giving Tuesday 2024 was a resounding success! Together, we surpassed our goal, uniting 108 community members and raising $50,120. Every contribution will directly support the 50th Anniversary Fund, dedicated to renovating our science laboratories and enriching the WIC student experience.
