YOU just illustrated why this community is the best. You amplified The Caring Place with your generosity and your heart. On March 7th at 6 p.m., we ended our 2024 fundraising event, which we call "Amplify." At that time, we celebrated raising just over $147,000 to help people with basic needs in our community. Out of over 700 non-profits, The Caring Place found itself number 7 for the most dollars raised across Central Texas. Later in the evening, we received a phone call letting us know The Caring Place won one of the "I Live Here, I Give Here" event prizes. This organization, which hosts the platform for this giving event, awarded The Caring Place another $5,000, making the grand total $152,078 raised. Without your support and without the support of our amazing sponsors matching your gifts, we would not have achieved this level of fundraising.
