Scholarships Available for Youth Programs

If you need financial assistance, please use our scholarship program - Walleye's for Kids-to help offset the cost of our youth programs. The scholarship can cover up to $100 for a program. You need to fill out a separate form for each program.

Rocket Class with EAA Chapter 444

Monday, June 24

Grades: 3-8

Waupaca Municipal Airport

Registration Deadline: June 3


Join us this summer for a unique and exciting educational experience that combines science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with the thrill of flying! Our program will provide students with an introduction to the world of aviation. Students will learn about the physics of flight, aerodynamics, as well as gain hands-on experience building, and launching their own rockets. Come join us at the Waupaca Airport!

Students should bring a snack and water as class will take place both inside and outside.

Adopt-A-Trail Program

We are looking for organizations and community members interested in assisting the Waupaca Park and Recreation Department in maintaining safe and well-groomed trails on the River Ridge Trail system. This is a great opportunity for businesses, Boy and Girl Scout troops, classrooms, clubs, groups of friends or families to give back to their community by helping us protect this great local resource.
