August 2022

"Our mission: help neighbors on their journey from scarcity
to security in the
name of Jesus Christ."

Thank you for coming alongside us on this journey as we look to create opportunities for meaningful impact in our community. Without friends and support, our work could not be accomplished. We truly are #BetterTogether!

This month you will find:

  • Take a Tour of our New HQ
  • Hunger Action Month
  • Car Show for Crosslines
  • Volunteer Opportunities

Levell Up, our campaign to unite all programs under one roof at 3055 E. Division St, is well underway!

With construction nearing completion, we want to invite YOU to join a tour. Our goal is to ensure that everyone gets a chance to be a part of Levelling Up our community together!

Call Philip Herzog, Director of Development, at 417-988-7162 or email pherzog@ccozarks.org to find a time! To learn about Levell Up and the "Why Now?", click here.

Did you know that September is Hunger Action Month?  Thanks to your support, we get to witness extraordinary moments of help and hope each day. Just look at this recent note from a Crosslines family:

“I wanted to thank you for the fresh vegetables we received from Crosslines last week. The summer squash was used in so many ways by our family of 9! We grilled, air fried, and breaded it for different meals. Everyone loved it and I still have more to cook this week! Summer squash is high in vitamins A, B6, C, folate, magnesium, and other essentials for growing kids! These benefits help keep my family healthy as we navigate a difficult season of making ends meet. Thank you, Crosslines!"

This thank you is to our whole team, which includes YOU! At every turn, we are incredibly lucky to participate in this purposeful, powerful, meaningful work and we thank God for your relationship and partnership along the way!

If you would like to support the Council of Churches of the Ozarks to honor Hunger Action Month as we strive to keep pace with inflation - to meet the real and growing need among families - you can click here.
