ISGD SUNDAY SCHOOL

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear our beloved community members,

With the grace of Allah, the enrollment for Huda- Alrhaman Islamic part time school will start this Saturday 10/31, and Sunday 11/1

 Inshaa Alah it will be at Masjid Al-Rahman on Saturdays and  Masjid Al-Huda on Sundays from 11:00 am-1:00 pm*

Ages : 10 & up

Alhamdulillah, we had been serving Dayton Muslim since August 2014 at masjid AlRahman (it was un-officially opened June 2009).

Each year  80-100 children,  aged  between 5-16  had successfully graduated , memorizing Quran, Hadeeth, and Dua' .

The Islamic School of ISGD provides a unique, individualized, accelerated educational program (Quran, Arabic , and Islamic studies), that is shaped by Islamic values and which prepares students for higher learning, leadership, service, and community builders.

Some of the objectives of the school:

* Spiritual growth and faith development

* Academic excellence in an innovative and creative environment

* Formation in a positive and nurturing environment

* Commitment to community building and community service

* Appreciation of individual uniqueness and value

Vision, Mission & Values:

Vision: To be the Islamic school of ISGD  weaving academic excellence with highest morals and ethics.

Mission:To provide our children an environment which will enable them to achieve their highest potential, founded on Islamic morals, scholastic excellence, and good citizenship.

Values:
* Committed balanced Muslims
* Knowledgeable scholars
* Contributing citizens and community builders
* Importance of Faith (Imaan)
* Purpose of Prayer (Salah)
* Strong Moral Character (Akhlaaq)

Achievements:

We had 8 levels of Arabic and Quran, each with its own program.

All the students pray Dhuhr prayer before leaving the masjid. This teaches them how to pray and how to recite athkar after prayer.

Teachers:

Even though our teachers are volunteers, they are very intelligent, have teaching experience and are able to handle students in a proper way. They are also great role models for the students.

Fees:

$ 35  per month for each student. The fee is used for supporting the school operations.
