Artist Residency
June 29th - July 5th

Years before Yaddo began operating as an artists' retreat at Spencer and Katrina Trask's property in Saratoga Springs, NY, the couple built Wakonda Lodge and hosted artists from the Art Students League of New York. Young artists, such as Georgia O’Keeffe, spent summers painting at Wiawaka.  In the summer of 2016 we continued that tradition by hosting eight talented artists who took up "residence" in Wakonda. We have been welcoming a talented group of artists since. This summer these artists will be staying with us from June 29th - July 5th, 2020.

We are accepting submissions from new artists with applications consisting of emailed images, a resume, and letter of interest until Feb. 15.

Please put the words "artist residency application" in your subject line.

All artists will be notified on or by March 1st.
Please send to wiawakadirector@gmail.com.
