A note from our Founder
Feeding Pets of the Homelessā„¢ is growing every day with more homeless finding their way to us. We have outsourced our direct mailings that go to our wonderful supporters because of our growth. It has led to many new donations, which allows us to help more pets across the country. Please note that if you wish to have your name and address removed from these mailings, please email us at info@petsofthehomeless.org and we will honor your request.

ANGEL
Vineland, New Jersey
November 2019
A homeless woman and her emotional support dog, Angel, have been living on the streets of Vineland, New Jersey for the past two months. She has had Angel for the last year and a half and states she looks and sounds like a cow. Angel has some separation anxiety because she had four different owners before Angel and her new owner found each other. Over the last few days, the weather in New Jersey hit the record-breaking cold, wind chill, and snow. The news was calling it an ā€œArctic Blastā€ that should last for several days. Angel is 2 years old, extremely energetic and vocal which posed difficulty when trying to find shelter for the storm.
CLOVER
Buena Park, CA
January 2020
A Buena Park, CA woman who has been living in her car for the past four years, called Feeding Pets of the Homelessā„¢ because her 3-year-old female Chihuahua, Clover, had been attacked by a coyote on a walk two weeks prior. Clover had received surgery for three broken ribs, a torn muscle, and a punctured lung and was supposed to return to the vet a few days after to have the drain tubes and stitches removed. The woman, unfortunately, waited too long and the emergency veterinarian she went to wanted to charge her for this service. We verified her homeless status with the OC Health Care Agency and approved an examination at the Pets of the Homelessā„¢ participating network veterinarian.
