EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

A MESSAGE

FROM

CHERYL

Good Morning, everyone.

As we approach Thanksgiving, Love Living at Home has much to be grateful for. We continue to support our members through a record number of services provided and a vibrant schedule of programs. Life during a pandemic is not ideal, however we are figuring out how to do it, by embracing each day, living the fullest lives possible and being grateful for all that we have. In this issue, we have some ideas about planning for a safe and thoughtful holiday, upcoming programs, as well as tips for keeping busy as winter approaches.

It is the season of thanksgiving, we are thankful for all of our members and volunteers who make LLH so very special. In addition, we are grateful for the broader community in which we live, work and play. Tompkins County is not only gorgeous, but it is also a community with a huge heart.

As the colder weather approaches and the pandemic is hitting all new highs, remember that we are in this together. If you need some help, or would just like to talk things over, please let me know.

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Cheryl

LLH volunteers are neighbors helping neighbors. Volunteers find true reward in providing a valuable service in support of our community. In fact, studies show volunteers lead happier lives simply because they volunteer.

LLH volunteers give as much time as they wish according to a schedule that suits them. Volunteers do not have to be members and members do not have to volunteer. All ages and abilities are welcome. To learn more about this fulfilling opportunity please call the office at 607-319-0162
