The fifth annual Brampton Venture Expo (BVX) marked a major milestone, celebrating five years of the Brampton Innovation District and Brampton Venture Zone by Toronto Metropolitan University (BVZ), the organizers behind this flagship event.
This year’s record-breaking event drew 1,350+ attendees, uniting entrepreneurs, investors, students, and community leaders to showcase Brampton’s thriving startup ecosystem.
Highlights included dynamic panels on MedTech, cybersecurity, logistics, XR, and AI, a new Innovation Zone with interactive workshops, and the on-stage renewal of BVZ’s five-year partnership with the City of Brampton, a commitment to driving inclusive growth and entrepreneurship.

The Brampton Board of Trade, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, and the City of Brampton are launching the Brampton Community Partner Program, running from October 2025 to March 2026. This pilot initiative will support 20 Brampton businesses with specialized cybersecurity training and secure AI adoption guidance.
Participants will take part in a six-week program featuring practical briefings, a sector-specific bootcamp, a readiness report, and a one-on-one consultation with a Catalyst Senior Cybersecurity Advisor.
