Enabled Talent was founded by Amandipp Singh, inspired by his personal experience overcoming employment barriers due to partial vision. Alongside Swathi Shekar, Jeby James, and Chitwan Mallhi, the team launched the platform during the inaugural BHive Brampton Next cohort in Brampton.
Globally, 1.3 billion people live with disabilities, yet 600 million remain excluded from the workforce. Enabled Talent addresses this gap through AI-powered matching that prioritizes skills, disabilities, and support needs, not just resumes. Aligned with Canada’s DIAP and the Accessible Canada Act, the platform empowers job seekers with accessible tools and coaching while enabling employers to hire inclusively and meet compliance standards.

The City of Brampton was on the world stage at Web Summit Vancouver May 27-30th, one of North America’s premier technology events. We were proud to represent our growing innovation ecosystem alongside some of Brampton’s best startups. These entrepreneurs are building solutions that span AI, healthtech, cleantech, fintech, digital media and beyond.
A highlight of the summit was Deputy Mayor Singh’s panel, Policy meets platform: Building secure tech ecosystems. The discussion focused on how government and industry can work together to build secure innovative tech ecosystems through smart policy and collaboration.

2025 Brampton's Starter Company Plus
The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre is relaunching the Starter Company Plus – Existing Business Stream to support established and arts-based businesses with training, mentorship, and up to $5,000 in grant funding. Some grants are reserved for artist-led ventures. Eligible applicants must be 18+, Brampton residents, and currently running or expanding a business. Previous participants, non-profits, and franchises are not eligible for funding but can access training. Attend an info session to learn more and apply.
