STARTUP SHOWCASE

Palette Skills is a national not-for-profit funded by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).

Their industry-driven programs provide upskilling opportunities to mid-career workers looking to pivot their careers across six sectors; advanced manufacturing, biomanufacturing, clean technology, agriculture technology, data technology and cybersecurity.

There are opportunities beyond hiring, including networking events, mentorship, program design, and guest speaking. There is currently no cost to employers.

DISTRICT WINS

Fibra, Brampton Venture Zone alumni, raised $1.7 million CAD in Pre-Seed Round to Advance a Fertility Tracking Underwear. The funds will help speed up the advancement of Fibra’s smart underwear technology, which aims to simplify reproductive health monitoring for women.
