In April and May of this year, CCYP conducted a COVID-19 Needs Survey to gauge the current challenges and needs of our young workforce community on Cape Cod. A total of 130 people responded to the survey, the majority (88%) of which were age 18-44. All lived and/or worked on Cape Cod.

Those who responded to the survey had experienced loss of employment, lack of childcare options, and mental health concerns, and many other impacts stemming from the pandemic. Since May, CCYP has applied these survey findings to create new programs, share critical resources, and advocate for much-needed support for our young worker community during this extremely difficult time.

Now we need your help to continue this important work.

We've just released a FOLLOW-UP COVID-19 Needs Survey to help CCYP track how needs among our young workforce community have changed over the last few months, and to assist us in planning for 2021 programs, events, and advocacy efforts.

Help us out by completing the survey, and you could win a prize pack of gift cards from CCYP member businesses worth more than $50! Just add your email at the end of the survey to be entered in the drawing (we promise we'll only use it to notify you if you win!).
As a service to our members and the Cape Cod community at large, CCYP has compiled a series of non-partisan VOTER GUIDES for select local races in the 2020 General Election. In these four (4) online guides, we invited Cape Cod candidates running for State Senate, State Representative, Barnstable County Commissioner, and Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates to answer a short questionnaire.

The candidates' unedited responses are presented in the guides, along with their campaign website and social media handles to learn more.

Need more election details? Want to know when, how, and where to vote? Looking for more info on what a County Commissioner or Delegate does in their role? Each Voter Guide includes these basics, as well!

Click on the graphics below to read the Voter Guides on our blog now, and get informed before you vote!
