COVID-19 Capacity Limits Lifted on October 25 But Not Yet in Interior & North
As of Sunday, Oct. 24, full vaccination for everyone born in 2009 or earlier (12+) and presentation of your BC Vaccine Card is now required to access certain non-essential events, services and businesses.
As of Monday, Oct. 25, more people are now able to come together at organized gatherings and events in parts of the province. The provincial health officer order restricting capacity limits to 50% for inside organized events and gatherings has been revised to allow 100% capacity in those settings where the BC Vaccine Card is in place and proof of vaccination status is checked.
Regional restrictions remain in place in the Interior (and north) so while the Canucks can play before a full house, the Rockets can not. Hopefully Interior Health will follow the provincial lead soon.
