2020 was a tough year for everyone, but out of it came many blessings.

Quiet Oaks could not fulfill our mission without each and everyone of you!

CORNER OF THANKS
CentraCare helping to keep
our residents stay connected
This month, CentraCare installed an iPad charging and cleaning station which included 9 functioning iPads to be used for our residents here at Quiet Oaks. They can chat with family, play games, watch their favorite shows or even schedule a telehealth visit if necessary.

We appreciate this community partner for helping us continue to provide resources that allow families stay connected during these times. Thank you, CentraCare! #BetterTogether

Our sweet Journey, the cat that adopted Quiet Oaks a few years ago, has sadly passed away. She blessed our lives and will be missed by many. Thank you to all those that loved her like we did. #BetterTogether
STAFF CORNER
Carolyn Neubauer, RN

Hello! I'm Carolyn Neubauer, RN.
I was born and raised in St. Cloud and moved all the way to Sauk Rapids after I got married.
My husband and I have 3 children; Steph, Amanda and Michael in addition to our 2 dogs; Pepper and Ruby. I love to travel, read books, play games and do puzzles. I enjoy gardening and spending time at the lake. My favorite thing to do is hang out with my family.
My first experience with Quiet Oaks was with my students at the SCTCC. It was at that time I felt drawn to become a part of the team. I started as a volunteer and soon moved into a staff position. The home atmosphere and the closeness of the staff make it the perfect place to work. Providing care for the residents and their families fills my heart and gives me peace. It's truly an honor to journey with the residents here at Quiet Oaks and I am blessed to be a part of the this family.

Why Volunteer at QO: I started when I saw an ad in the SC Times for volunteers in 2009 and was looking for something meaningful to occupy my time after retiring. At Quiet Oaks, I get to work with great people, both staff and other volunteers. The staff make you feel appreciated and like you're part of the team...and it feels like home!

Why Volunteer at QO: I volunteer at Quiet Oaks because I love cooking, helping others, gardening and taking care of the indoor plants. And I LOVE the people here...they have become like family.
Although we're limiting people in the house right now, please don't hesitate to fill out a volunteer application. We have begun to resume some limited attendance volunteer orientations and would be happy to get you on board! #BetterTogether

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Safety for our residents, families, staff and volunteers is our first priority and we just wanted to let everyone know that Quiet Oaks is taking all the recommended CDC precautions to keep everyone safe. We will continue to follow all CDC recommendations and will integrate all measures as needed. Please keep Quiet Oak and everyone across the globe in your prayers.
We're now allowing immediate family members
to visit their loved ones at Quiet Oaks between the hours of 4 pm-6 pm. You will be screened at the
front door prior to entering the house.
All other guests can come for a window
side visit between 10 am - 6 pm.
