We wanted you to be the first to know that with your continued support, we have devised a plan to still host this year's State of the Base. This continues to be our largest and most-anticipated program of the year. While the impact of COVID-19 will prevent us from hosting this year's event in person, the State of Robins Air Force Base remains vitally important for our community, state, and nation; so NOT having a "State of the Base" simply isn't an option for us.
We have been able to keep our entire original event panel intact, and they all have agreed to allow us to record their content for release for our first Virtual State of the Base. We plan to record our content with base leaders next week, and finalize our video production the following week.
Since we are shifting our content-delivery to a virtual platform, we have realigned your sponsor benefits accordingly. As a military sponsor, you will receive:
- Logo and/or tagging on promotional materials (emails, social media, video, press releases)
- Video introduction of one of our panelists
- Logo inclusion in video as military sponsor
- Access for 20 attendees to video content upon release and recorded content post-broadcast
One of our Chamber staff members will be reaching out next week to set up a time to shoot your video content. Our original plan was to premiere the virtual event the week of June 15, but we have moved it to June 24 to de-conflict with our area high school graduations.
This annual program serves as a platform for base leadership to brief the community on their priorities, progress, and partnership opportunities. The program is hosted by the Robins Regional Chamber's Military Affairs Committee and is open to Robins Regional Chamber members, Middle Georgia Military Affairs Committee partners, and community partners. We hope you are as proud as we are to be able to keep this time-honored event intact even if we will experience it in a new and different way this year. Thank you for your continued support.
