Be Someone Who Cares An Awful Lot This Year
All of us at the Ross Park Zoo have been humbled by the generous outpouring of support from our community.

This upcoming year, we're asking you to be someone who cares a whole awful lot.

You can be a part of protecting wildlife and wild places by joining us in our work. Together, we can make the world a better place for generations to come.

Your gift today will allow us to continue to ensure every animal at the Ross Park Zoo receives the highest level of care. Make your gift online by clicking here
Compost at Home
Last month on our social media pages, we learned about food waste. Food waste in America increases 25% during the holidays.

Reducing your food waste can be simple. It includes saving your leftovers, freezing leftovers and food you won't use right away, and trying to buy only what you need. The last step in reducing your food waste is composting at home!

To help you get started, we created a quick video on how to set up your own compost at home. Watch the video by clicking here.
Animal Angel Tree
All month long in the gift shop and online, help support our animals by purchasing new animal enrichment and items for animal care.

We'll have tags in the gift shop on our Animal Angel Tree. Grab a tag, scan the QR code on the back to see the item in need, and purchase the item.

Can't make it out to the Ross Park Zoo? Check out what items are in need online by clicking here.
Keeper Talks continue!
When you visit the Ross Park Zoo, make sure you check out our keeper talks! Learn more about some of your favorite animals at the zoo including Tushar, our snow leopard. Keeper talks are included with your zoo admission. Check out the schedule below:

Weekend Keeper Talks

11:00 am: Cougar Keeper Talk

1:30 pm: Cats of Asia Keeper Talk
New Coyote Habitat
We've moved our Coyotes into a new habitat that is a part of Wolf Woods!

The new habitat is bigger and features a more natural environment for them.

Check it out in Wolf Woods on your next visit to the Ross Park Zoo!
Custom Animal Art
This week is your last week to order custom animal art in time before the holidays! Orders must be placed by December 10th to ensure animal art is created and received by the holidays!

Have our animal artists make a custom piece of art and give a truly unique gift to friends and family!

Custom animal art at the Ross Park Zoo directly benefits the zookeepers Animal Welfare Fund, which includes purchasing new enrichment for our animal artists!

CHOW Food Drive Update
With your help in early November, we collected three full boxes of non-perishable food items to donate to CHOW!

We're happy to help our community in the Southern Tier. Thank you for your help in stopping hunger in Broome County!
