REMINDER
ATTENTION TO ALL PHA MEMBERS!

ALL PHA MEMBERS MUST WEAR THEIR PHA ID BADGES
ON THEIR PERSON (NOT ON YOUR RANGE BAG, NOT HANGING ON THE REARVIEW MIRROR OF YOUR VEHICLE, OR ANYWHERE ELSE) AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON PHA PROPERTY.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

If anyone asks about your badge, do not take it personally.
Just show your badge and thank them for asking.

PHA Board of Directors.
ATTENTION ALL PHA MEMBERS!
Governor Cooper's Phase 3 does
not change anything for PHA.

All PHA matches will continue their normal schedule. However, we still must still follow a few NC restrictions while shooting matches.

They are:

  • While shooting outdoors, no more than 50 people will be allowed to participate in ANY PHA match.
  • Everyone shooting the match must maintain the 6-foot separation.
  • All match shooters, match directors, and RSO's must wear protective masks.
  • No food can be provided at any match.

If these requirements cannot be complied with at any match, then the match must be canceled. These requirements will remain in place until the NC Governor relaxes them again. And we'll report those changes in the Range Report.

Also, the guest restriction has been removed. Please follow the normal limitation, 2 per member, for guests you bring PHA Range.

Bridge Update
We are very close to a final solution for the bridge at the 100-yard range. You will be notified here, in the Range Report, as soon as the final plans are complete.

Upcoming Matches
5-Stand Shotgun

The 5-Stand shotgun for this Saturday
will be starting at 9 am.

The 5-Stand shotgun for this Sunday
will be starting at 12 pm.

What will it take for YOU to step up?

If you are interested in volunteering to help with the 5-stand, please contact Rick Muetzel via email and let him know. The entire club thanks you and needs your support!
NRA High Power Match

This Saturday, there will be a High Power Match from 8 am until noon.

Our event for the day will be a 30 round vintage rifle match / AR practice match. Since these matches usually run pretty fast, bring a .22 rifle for a 200-yard high power match. We'll have the .22 match as the second or third relay depending on how many entries we have for vintage. 30 round count for score, but we will have a 10-minute sight in period with unlimited sighters for .22 LR. The course of fire for vintage will be 5 sighters in 5 minutes, 10 rounds slow fire prone in 10 minutes, 10 rounds rapid fire prone in 70 seconds, 10 rounds offhand in 10 minutes. .22lr match will be the same except for the sight in period.

All firing will be on the 200-yd NRA targets.

See you then!

Wayne and Neil
Buffalo Match

The Buffalo match for Sunday is canceled.
We're Looking for a Little Help.
The PHA Range Board of Directors is looking for some part-time volunteers for two of the PHA officers. PHA is growing and that means there is more to do in the "back office" of PHA.

The two officers are: Secretary, Membership Secretary.

If you are interested in any of the two areas, or want more information, click on a button below and let them know.
They will get back to you soon.
PHA Safety Reminder

Full auto, slide-fire weapons, or any weapon with a finary trigger or any burst trigger system is NOT allowed on PHA ranges
