Bridge Update
The recent rainstorm has washed out the temporary bridge at the 100-yard range. There is no access to the 100-yard berm at this time. The 25- and 50-yard berms are available. And you may use the 100-yard berm at the 200-yard range.

We have just received a report from Andy Miller, the Director of the Davidson County Soil and Water Conservation District. We have just started to review that report.

REMINDER
ATTENTION TO ALL PHA MEMBERS!

ALL PHA MEMBERS MUST WEAR THEIR PHA ID BADGES
ON THEIR PERSON (NOT ON YOUR RANGE BAG, NOT HANGING ON THE REARVIEW MIRROR OF YOUR VEHICLE, OR ANYWHERE ELSE) AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON PHA PROPERTY.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

If anyone asks about your badge, do not take it personally.
Just show your badge and thank them for asking.

Governor Cooper's Phase 3 does
not change anything for PHA.


All PHA matches will continue their normal schedule. However, we still must still follow a few NC restrictions while shooting matches.

They are:

  • While shooting outdoors, no more than 50 people will be allowed to participate in ANY PHA match.
  • Everyone shooting the match must maintain the 6-foot separation.
  • All match shooters, match directors, and RSO's must wear protective masks.
  • No food can be provided at any match.

If these requirements cannot be complied with at any match, then the match must be canceled. These requirements will remain in place until the NC Governor relaxes them again. And we'll report those changes in the Range Report.

Also, the guest restriction has been removed. Please follow the normal limitation, 2 per member, for guests you bring PHA Range.

Falling Plate Match

The Falling Plate match starts at 9 am on Saturday in Bay #2. Registration and safety meeting start before match time. Don't miss the safety briefing. Be safe and always wear eye and ear protection while shooting on any of our ranges.
Kind Heart
Kind Heart has been busy since we formed in September.

We have sent 11 get-well cards, 6 sympathy cards, and 6 flowers or donations in memory of deceased members.

We also made donations to The West Davidson Food Pantry and to 5 area churches.

Please continue to let us know when a PHA member or family member is in the hospital, sick or has died. You may contact any one on the committee.

Annual Membership Renewal
is in Overtime.

If you haven't renewed your membership, you're now in the penalty phase.

  • October 1 to December 31. Club Memberships renewed during this time will incur a $50 late fee in addition to the $125 annual dues.

  • December 31. This is the final day that dues + penalty will be accepted. If you have not renewed by this date, you will be officially dropped from the PHA membership rolls. If you renew after this date, you must re-apply as a brand-new member and pay the new member fees.

We're Looking for a Little Help.
The PHA Range Board of Directors is looking for some part-time volunteers for two of the PHA officers. PHA is growing and that means there is more to do in the "back office" of PHA.

The two officers are: Secretary, Membership Secretary.
