General Meeting Reminder
General Meeting

The next General Meeting is tonight, March 12, at 7 pm at the Ocean View restaurant in Lexington.

What if the weather is bad? PHA follows what the  Davidson County school system does. If they are open that day, we will have our meeting. If they are closed that day, then we will have no meeting and will meet again in the following month.

Friends of NRA-North Carolina
The North Carolina Friends of NRA conducts money raising events periodically that supports youth shooting and firearms safety programs in our state. The money raised at these events are not used by the NRA for any other cause. It provides funds for high school and middle school shooting teams, FFA shooting programs, Boy Scout shooting programs, FFA hunter safety programs, ROTC shooting programs, 4-H shooting programs, American Legion junior shooting sports programs, and Merit Scholarships for Community College gunsmithing programs. All the money raised in North Carolina stays in North Carolina.

I had the pleasure of attending the event in November when the money was distributed and divided among the many youth programs in our state in need of funding. We, as a Shooting Club, need to be more active in supporting the Friends of NRA.

The NRA Friends banquet is being held this year on March 20th . They serve a wonderful dinner. There are raffles for guns and equipment. There will be a silent auction and a regular auction. If you have never been to this event, it is wonderful program for a great cause.
You do NOT have to be a member of NRA  to purchase a ticket and attend.

Individual tickets are $35.00 for a single person.

A Patriot's table is also available. A Patriot's table seats eight people ($125 per Patriot) and costs $1000. That includes 8 tickets and 8 knives per table. Each person at the table has a 1 in 8 chance of winning a firearm from the prize list. If you're interested in sitting at a table but lack 7 others, no problem. We will do our very best to book you at a table with 7 other individuals so that you will have a 1 in 8 chance at winning a gun of your choice. This event is held at the Richard Childress complex in Welcome.

N.C. Friends of NRA is a 501.3c organization. If you would like to purchase the entire table, there is a tax deduction available. Or if you would like to make a simple donation, that is also tax deductible.

Please remember that the more youth we get into our sport, the stronger and longer our future will last.

Please contact me for tickets or information.
Thank you.
