REMINDER

ATTENTION TO ALL PHA MEMBERS!

ALL PHA MEMBERS  MUST  WEAR THEIR PHA ID BADGES
ON THEIR PERSON ( NOT ON YOUR RANGE BAG, NOT HANGING ON THE REARVIEW MIRROR OF YOUR VEHICLE, OR ANYWHERE ELSE ) AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON PHA PROPERTY.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

If anyone asks about your badge, do not take it personally.
Just show your badge and thank them for asking.

PHA Board of Directors.
ATTENTION ALL PHA MEMBERS!
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Due to the COVID-19 virus and in
the interest of your safety,
we expect this situation to now
last until the next phase announcement.
---------------------------------------------------------

Since Governor Cooper announced on Wednesday, May 6 that Phase 1 would take effect on Friday May 8 at 5 pm, there was no need to delay the Range Report as previously announced.

As we see it, there is little difference for us between the restrictions that are in place now and the restrictions in phase 1.

THEREFORE, ALL MATCHES AND SCHEDULED
PHA ACTIVITIES ARE STILL CANCELLED
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Any changes will be announced
in the Range Report.

----------------------------------------------------------

NOTE : During this time, PHA members are NOT to bring any guests or visitors into the PHA Range.
PHA members are only allowed to bring in anyone from their immediate family.

This is being done in the interest of the welfare of the general membership and to follow the sanctions imposed by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.

When it is time to resume normal activities, it will be published here in the Range Report.

This is a decision made by the PHA Board of Directors.
Everyone please take the necessary precautions, set forth by our government, very seriously
and do your part to help stop this pandemic.

We hope everyone is doing well.

PHA Board of Directors
More Information

The Range will not be closed. It will remain open during this time period. Please exercise proper main gate etiquette during this time as you come and go. Please do not congregate in groups of 10 or more while at the Range.

As things change, they will be announced here in the Range Report. We are merely following the sanctions given by Governor Roy Cooper for the state of North Carolina. When these sanctions are lifted, we anticipate resuming our normal schedule. We will issue a Special Range Report immediately to let you know.

If you have any questions, please contact any Board Member.

What Not to Do
Necked-Down Ammo

The necked-down ammo (shown in the picture on the left) was found in one of the pistol bays on Wednesday.
Shooting this type of ammo in any of the pistol bays is NOT allowed. If you are caught doing this (and we're reviewing footage) it is highly possible that you would lose your membership.

Is it really worth it?
PHA Safety Reminder
Any time the range is called "Cold", all firearms must be unloaded and benched, with magazines removed or bolts, slides, and cylinders open.
Use of Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI) is highly recommended.
Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates Are Available!
If you would like to give someone a gift certificate for a new membership or for annual renewal, we can help you to do that. Just contact the PHA Secretary for details.
HURRY!! Mother's Day is May 10. Nothing says Happy Mother's Day like a gift certificate and a box of shells.
