Millersville University Salutes Veterans
Millersville University strives to provide a strong educational experience for all students, fully aware that some students need different resources than others. Of the nearly 7,000 Marauders on campus, 140 are known to be veterans who are benefiting from the resources offered specifically to them, which includes staff who assist with the transition to civilian life, flexibility in course withdrawals when called back into active duty, and the comradery students can find with fellow vets in the Mercer House. The Veteran Resource Center strives to go above and beyond for student veterans to ensure their college success and to express our gratitude for their service. Click

Col. William Davis III '72, USA Ret. had just completed his bachelor's degree in secondary education when he decided to enlist in the Army on Veteran's Day 1971, knowing that he was going to serve a greater cause. What he didn't know is that he was embarking on an impressive career as a Green Beret, from which he wouldn't retire until 2005.
