Glorious Virtual Sounds of the Season
Provides Scholarship Support for Students

Twelve Days of Glorious Virtual Sounds of the Season featured outstanding students from the Tell School of Music in a virtual concert experience, showcasing twelve musical performances presented online through a virtual platform. ELCM Parker Dewey Partnership:
Support Millersville Students and Your Company!
MU has partnered with Parker Dewey, which allows you to post your company project in under five minutes. Over the winter break many students are looking for remote, project-oriented opportunities to gain professional experience. We know that the end of the year is a busy time for everyone, so to help we would like to invite you to post a Micro Work Experience. These paid, professional projects can help you shorten your to-do list by inviting a student to help your business with professional projects that are not the best use of your time so that you can turn your attention elsewhere. These projects generally take a student between 5-40 hours of work.

Here are some other benefits:

•   No Administrative Burden: Thanks to Millersville University’s partnership with Parker Dewey, you can post your project in under five minutes. Parker Dewey is the employer of record for the student and handles all of the HR, legal, or other administrative burdens.

•   Flexibility: You determine the scope of work, rate of pay, deadlines and other parameters. You can choose one student or many; you can post one project or many. It’s completely up to you, and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

•   Variety of Projects: Whatever your department or industry, Micro Work Experiences can help. Here are some examples of the types of projects that can be completed as Micro Work Experiences.

Donors and Students

On Friday, December 4, 2020, the seventh annual Celebrate Scholars Event was hosted as a virtual event for the first time, in a special event recognizing the generosity of scholarship donors from across the country and the student scholarship recipients who benefit from scholarship support. Donors and students had the opportunity to meet together in Zoom breakout rooms and learn about the exciting accomplishments that student scholarship recipients are achieving because of generous donor support for transformative academic and athletic experiences for Millersville University students.
