EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund Assists Students

Impacted by COVID-19

The impacts of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have affected the lives of Marauders here at Millersville University and around the world. Although Millersville University students returned to their homes to continue the spring semester through remote instruction, due to difficult personal circumstances, some students are currently living on campus. These students are experiencing temporary displacement from their homes, or face homelessness, with no shelter other than on campus at the University.

There is an immediate need to equip these students with vital resources to accommodate their daily needs including food, toiletries, required resources for remote learning and other necessities. Millersville University has established the EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund to meet the needs of our most vulnerable students during this challenging time.

Announcing the Alumni Affinity Network Pilot Program

Recognizing the deep appreciation alumni feel toward Millersville University, and that many of its 68,000 members have a desire to increase their involvement and give back, the Millersville University Alumni Association (MUAA) proposes to add affinity groups to the Marauder PRIDE (Participate, Recruit, Inspire, Donate, Engage) Network to allow alumni to organize around shared identities, interests, and goals.

The Office of Alumni Engagement will be piloting a program that creates a transition from Affinity Graduations (Graduating Students of Color and Rainbow Graduation) to affinity programs for alumni and we need your help!
