Award From The Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation For The Care Fund

What an honor to receive a prestigious $7,500 award from the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation for the Care Fund. The funds will be used to provide one week of comprehensive end-of-life care for two current residents at Celia's House who lack financial resources. Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice is prioritizing replenishing the Care Fund for 2026. Please consider giving a donation to ensure our nonprofit can continue serving those in need. In 2025, The HUB continued to do what it does best — turning everyday generosity into meaningful end-of-life care for our community. Every donation, every purchase, and every volunteer shift supports our ability to provide comfort for Celia’s House residents and their families.

This year, we celebrated the legacy of Barbara Oliver with a new Roastingear HUB Couture event and had our most successful Candlelight holiday event yet. We welcomed new volunteers, fresh paint, and a new chic logo — and we saw firsthand how small acts of kindness add up to something truly powerful.

Thank you for being part of a year that made a difference. We’re excited to build on last year’s success. Here’s to making 2026 even better!

As we drove up the driveway, we saw the ground’s were exquisite. Inside, the first thing we noticed was it not only looked like a beautiful home, but it smelled like a normal home, not a care facility or hospital.

We were so happy with the care my dad received and have absolutely no complaints. Not only was my dad very well taken care of, but our family was treated very well also.
