What a lovely lunch date
we had for a resident and his wife courtesy of Red Lobster!
Quiet Oaks had the privilege of hosting students from Career One at the house Tuesday-Thursday this week. They learned a little about hospice and Quiet Oaks and then did some yard clean-up...what a great group of kids! Thank you for your interest in learning and helping!

National Healthcare Decisions Day--
July 16th, 2020
National Healthcare Decisions Day is traditionally held on April 16, but this year, there's a change. With Tax Day being moved to July, we invite you to celebrate "NHDD 2.0" on July 16, however you are able. NHDD exists to inspire, educate, and empower the public and providers about the importance of advance care planning. Learn more at the  NHDD/Conversation Project website.

Celebrate #HealthcareDecisionsDay2.0 by getting educated  about advance directives with this branded booklet.
This in-depth workbook helps to share values and healthcare choices. Tips on discussing and documenting healthcare wishes are also provided.
For LOCAL assistance with
Advanced Care Planning, please contact
"Light the Legacy"...they can help with many health care questions and options.
