CORNER OF GRATITUDE
Fly with Hope
Thank you to Barry R. VanBuren and Dr. Phyllis E. VanBuren who donated these lovely monarchs in memory of their parents. These will enable our residents and their families to feel connected to our butterfly release year after year.

THANK YOU!
WHAT'S YOUR FAMILY TRADITION???
A special thank you and shout out to long time volunteer Gail Stanger for her creativity and perseverance during COVID to continue a family tradition.

The Stanger clan created their own summer fun when the pandemic forced the cancellation of JoeTown Rocks. They gathered, played games and shared food while raising money amongst family participants for Quiet Oaks.
SPECIAL THANKS TO DKG
On July 6, 13 DKG educators gathered at the Sartell Community Center replete with masks and physical distancing to enjoy a lunch provided
by Quiet Oaks and packets of materials to prepare butterfly
bedecked cards used for the 9th Annual Butterfly Release.

If you would like to join in handing out cookies and sending the staff off with "thanks for their service and future well wishes", go to the Health Partners Building at 2251 Connecticut Ave S, Sartell, MN 56377 at 6:30 am. Master Gardener Volunteer

Hometown: I was raised in Mound, MN on Lake Minnetonka. My siblings and I would pool our allowance to pay the neighbor for gas to take us out waterskiing on their boat

Spouse: Married to husband, Dan for 47 years

Hobbies: Gardening, Golf, Puzzles, and Eating Chocolate

Why I volunteer at Quiet Oaks: I've been volunteering at Quiet Oaks since 2007, before it even opened its doors. I was already volunteering as a hospice volunteer when I saw an ad in the paper for a garden volunteer and thought PERFECT...combines both of my passions and I've been out in the gardens ever since
Although we're limiting people in the house right now, please don't hesitate to fill out a volunteer application. When we resume our normal activities, we'll give you a call to set up a volunteer orientation time. Thank you!
ONGOING COMMUNITY SPONSORS
Please support these local businesses
that so kindly support Quiet Oaks!
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Safety for our residents, families, staff and volunteers is our first priority and we just wanted to let everyone know that Quiet Oaks is taking all the recommended CDC precautions to keep everyone safe. We will continue to follow all CDC recommendations and will integrate all measures as needed. Please keep Quiet Oak and everyone across the globe in your prayers.
We are now allowing immediate family members to visit their loved ones at Quiet Oaks between the hours of 10 am-12 noon and 5 pm-7 pm. You will be screened at the front door prior to entering the house.
