It has been one of the most difficult seasons our team has experienced. Though we lost our friend, mentor and director, Bill Duey, last September, we have been able to carry on the mission of Fit-2-Serve (F2S). Bill believed in 'equipping' the team first before sending them off into the 'mission field'. We were indeed, well equipped, enabling the team to fulfill commitments made by F2S. As a grass-roots, faith-based organization, we remain focused on our mission:

"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13

After spending time in prayer, Beau Scott accepted the position as the Executive Director for F2S in February 2022. Beau and his lovely wife, Ashley, will lead our organization as a family ministry. Between the two of them, they parent five children, ranging in ages from 3 to 17. How amazing is that?

For several years, Bill and Beau met for weekly discipleship meetings. After Bill passed away, Beau learned that his name had been mentioned as the future director of F2S. Timing is everything, and the timing to step into the position was perfect for Beau and Ashley!

Though there have been many challenges, God has shown His Presence and blessed F2S every single day! The Board and Staff are grateful for Beau's commitment to continue the 'good work' Bill had been called to do.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Philippians 1:6
