GIVE THE GIFT OF MEMBERSHIP

Give the gift of AGPA membership to colleagues, friends, and students, and welcome new members into AGPA!

Greetings!

As a valued member of AGPA, we are offering you a special member benefit: the opportunity to give the gift of membership to your colleagues, friends and students.

As you know, AGPA is a community of professionals dedicated to the advancement of group therapy. What better way to support and grow our community than by adding new members?

We have heard from so many of you that the experience of cultivating and mentoring new AGPA members is extremely rewarding. The first year of membership is critical for engaging our new members. Members who feel a real connection with other members will want to maintain their membership. With this in mind, we invite you to be that connection. Give the gift of membership and actively welcome your new members into AGPA. Follow-up and keep in touch with the members you have sponsored so that you support them and provide them with insight and information about AGPA.

Share the gift of AGPA membership with as many new members as you would like to invite to join AGPA.
Important details:
  • Offer free memberships to those who have never been a member of AGPA. This offer is not valid for past or current members, and it cannot be used to renew a membership.
  • New this year: free members fill out their applications online (no paper applications) and do not need to provide payment information.
  • Membership becomes official upon acceptance of an application and is active through June 30, 2023.
Who should you gift membership to? A few suggestions . . .
  • Sponsor students, trainees, residents or colleagues.
  • Consider those in your local society with the potential to be leaders in the field and AGPA.
  • Approach colleagues with the potential to be workshop or open session presenters.
  • Invite potential members who will likely attend 2023 AGPA Connect and with whom you would like to spend more time.
  • Think of those whom you might want to mentor.
Have questions? Contact the AGPA Member Care Team at (212) 297-2145 or email desireeferenczi@agpa.org.

We look forward to welcoming your new members to AGPA.
