The College Annual Meeting is designed to create lasting family memories, renew bonds with longtime friends, cultivate new relationships and offer intimate networking opportunities.
Part of our reason of existence is to provide a forum for board-certified orthodontists to interact scientifically and socially.
On the Resort grounds, enjoy the

Friday July 14, 2023 OFFERING

Guided Lake Fishing
7:00 am-11:00 am
$259.00 per angler, inclusive of taxes and gratuities
Minimum Number of Participants– 4; Maximum 25
Sport fishing, be it for salmon, pike or bass, is an age-old pastime. Experience the spectacular scenery, the abundant wildlife, bald eagles, and osprey. Together, the experience will leave our CDABO fishermen and women “reeling.”
Lake Coeur d’Alene is deep and clear, with steep rocky ledges, gravel beaches and shallow bays.
These conditions make for diverse fishing opportunities. Most of the lake fishing will be trolling with the use of downriggers, or casting for the big lunkers bedded down in the shallows.
NOTES:
· It is recommended that you wear clothing, headgear and sunglasses appropriate for the weather; and wear sunscreen.
· Please bring a full water bottle (no plastics please to honor our theme) and any snacks that you need.

Vantage Point Brewing is Coeur d’Alene’s newest addition to an explosive brewing community. Using grains from regional wheat and barley fields, Vantage Point boasts delicious, crafted beer. Paragon Brewing has been in operation since May 1, 2014 and we have a 2,000 square foot onsite brewing facility with an anticipated capacity of 1000 bbls per year. Learn the intricacies of what makes beers taste so different.

Historic Silver Valley Tour

Enjoy a scenic drive toward the Montana border to Wallace, a historic mining town in Idaho’s beautiful Silver Valley. Your tour begins as you board the Sierra Silver Mine trolley and make your way through quaint downtown Wallace, learning about the history of the Silver Capital of the World!
Upon arrival at the mine, an experienced miner will take you on a tour through the main drift of an actual underground silver mine. Using exhibits, and demonstrations of operating mine equipment, you will learn historical and modern-day techniques used to mine silver, gold, lead, zinc and copper. From the mine, you’ll travel to City Limits Pub to enjoy a tasty miner’s-sized lunch.
After lunch, you’ll stroll back to the heart of downtown, and begin the city tour at the Northern Pacific Depot Railroad Museum. We’ll finish the tour at the Wallace Mining Museum, where you will learn about local history, mining efforts, and the areas unique heritage. Don’t forget to check out the “Center of the Universe” marker along the route!

CDABO guests will depart from the Resort, travel through downtown Spokane, and in a moment be in the serenity of Peaceful Valley. From here on, you’re going to be treated to beautiful scenery, gentle rapids, wild animals, and peaceful floats atop Spokane’s liquid gem!
You’ll be given an opportunity to take a dip in the river prior to the first set of rapids. You and your river guide will navigate your raft through the current. This family-friendly section of the river has a few Class II “splash & giggle” rapids. This float is perfect for those looking for a relaxing adventure surrounded by the beauty of the Inland Northwest.
NOTES:
· Wear your float trip clothes, as there is no place to change into them at River
· Please bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses etc.
· Please bring a full water bottle (no plastics of course, to honor our theme) and any snacks you may want
· Please eat lunch or bring your lunch to eat as we travel to Spokane. We will not be stopping for lunch, prior to the float, or on the river. Beverages will be provided during and after the float.
· Please do not use the Resort guest towels from your room. The Resort Spa will supply towels. Missing towels will incur a $12.00 per towel charge.

Mudgy & Millie Walking Tour and Souvenir Hunt

Written by Coeur d’Alene’s own Susan Nipp, the book about the Adventures of Mudgy & Millie come to life in this scavenger hunt adventure.
Mudgy Moose and Millie Mouse play a game of hide-and-seek. Millie hides while Mudgy searches for her along the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Children join in the fun as Mudgy wanders along the lake, across town, and through the park in his quest to find Millie, who was hiding close by all the time.
The world-acclaimed sculptor of Mudgy & Millie, Terry Lee, will meet the guests at the first stop on the tour, at the base of Tubbs Hill. Terry will escort the group through beautiful McEuen Park with its water features and a fun playground the kids can visit later. It is on to the Coeur d’Alene Library, the 2nd stop. Mudgy will meet us with a special reading of the book, and a special take-away gift for each family! Want a photo with Mudgy – we’ll be sure you get one!
It's off to find the next statue of Mudgy & Millie, but wait! Ice cream and cookies await at the snack bar at Bear Paw Cookies. After indulging in gooey goodness, we’ll look for our 3rd stop along bustling Sherman Avenue. The statues of Mudgy and Millie will be the thing to find on the trail. So keep your eyes peeled, little ones. You may want a photo opportunity with the most-photographed moose and mouse in the world!
Then on to stop 4 in the Coeur d’Alene City Park, where another surprise awaits those who find Mudgy & Millie (and maybe a huge play structure! The final stop on our trek is nearby, and maybe you’ll see an airplane take off across the lake from Mudgy & Millie’s perch on Independence Point near the Resort’s front lawn.

Educated (2018) is a memoir by the American author Tara Westover. Westover recounts overcoming her survivalist Mormon family in order to go to college, and emphasizes the importance of education in enlarging her world. She details her journey from her isolated life in the mountains of Idaho to completing a PhD program in history at Cambridge University.
She started college at the age of 17 having had no formal education. She explores her struggle to reconcile her desire to learn with the world she inhabited with her father.
As of the September 13, 2020, issue of The New York Times, the book had spent 132 consecutive weeks on the Hardcover Non-Fiction Best Seller list.
The discussion will be led by Bookishly Happy, a local used books store in Coeur d'Alene.

Idaho Firearms Experience

Established in 1989 in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service and the Idaho Dept. of Fish and Game, Fernan Rod & Gun Club is a family-oriented member-owned range, encouraging family participation in matches and activities. FRGC is the only joint military, civilian and police firing range of its type in Idaho and one of the few of this type in the United States.
Shoot at a variety of targets with a variety of guns, from pistols to rifles to shotguns. Each guest participates in a safety session conducted by a FRGC Safety Officer prior to firing a weapon on the range.

THERE IS A 40-PERSON MAXIMUM FOR THIS ACTIVITY. You will sign up for a specific departure time, with 10 people max per departure.

7 zip lines, 2 sky bridges and views that are out of this world are what make this the ultimate outdoor experience in Coeur d’Alene. Your adventure will start across the street from the Resort, where you will gear up for your tour. You will then be shuttled above Beauty Bay, 12 miles east of downtown.
A UTV will be waiting for you upon arrival at the property. An exciting mile-long drive, with an 800 ft vertical foot climb, is what lies between you and your first step off the platform and into the sky! You will soar from tree to tree for 2-2.5 hours.
After ziplining is finished you will be shuttled back downtown where you can check out your zipline photos (not included in the package price).
