Your Company Has Not Yet Submitted

a Technical Paper

Dear AABC,

As a reminder, all AABC member agencies are required to submit a technical paper every two years to maintain their certification.

Your technical paper for the 2022-2023 time period must be received before your 2024 company and individual certificates will be sent.

2024 certificates will not be sent to those agencies who have not complied with this requirement.

Please Note: Articles submitted in 2022 that fulfilled the 2020-2021 requirement do not count toward the 2022-2023 requirement.

Due December 2023!

Publishing the TAB Journal quarterly requires many articles each year, and strong articles from AABC members reflect well on the combined expertise of the AABC membership. Some suggested topics and approaches for technical articles include:

  • A Case Study on an unusual job, a problem that was encountered and how it was solved, or the methodology that went into a large-scale testing and balancing project.

  • New Developments in testing equipment or systems such as variable frequency drives, duct sizing & fittings, grilles & diffusers, instrumentation, hydronics, etc.

  • Best Practices when engaging in smoke control testing, sound & vibration testing, balancing laboratory systems and other special-use facilities, etc.

  • Safety Procedures when handling different systems and equipment.
