Strive to Thrive

May 14, 2025

SUMMIT RECAP 2025

I Work with Artists:

Artists Led Organizing

Are artists in your community leading the way — or being left behind?

How well do you support artists who organize around their own issues and goals? This quick tool helps you reflect — from silencing to celebrating artist leadership. Use it to assess where you stand and how to move toward deeper, shared power with artists.

It’s not just about inclusion — it’s about shifting power and building lasting change.

Let this be a starting point for honest conversations, bold commitments, and artist-driven action.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

JORDAN MEDLEY

Medley of Moves

Consulting

New York, NY

Tell us about yourself.

Tony Award-winning producer. Strategic futurist. Wordsmith with a warrior’s heart. Jordan moves at the intersection of liminal space and legacy, blending arts, intellect, and entrepreneurial spirit into one singular force. From company management at Wicked to reshaping Broadway economics with the BSSI model, he doesn’t just follow industry trends — he rearchitects them.

Whether crafting career pathways for Black and Brown creatives, reimagining nonprofit leadership, or launching a new theatrical empire rooted in licensing and longevity, Jordan’s genius lies in radical clarity and soulful execution. He's part policy thinker, part cultural curator, and fully unafraid to ask the deeper questions — about value, resilience, equity, and what it really means to lead from the in-between.

A Medley of moves? More like a masterclass in intentional motion

What makes you Thrive?

I thrive when I'm building systems that honor both the artistry and the artist. In this chapter of life, I call ACT 2: The Build, I'm channeling my experiences as a Tony Award-winning producer and arts strategist into creating sustainable, equitable structures within the creative economy. Whether it's through Medley of Moves Consulting or developing tools like the Broadway Show Success Index (BSSI), my mission is to ensure that artists not only have a stage but also a stake in the legacy they help create.
