Strive to Thrive

September 10, 2025

I Work with Artists:

Evaluation

Some organizations are silenced, with no mechanisms to measure or reflect on their work with artists. Others struggle, using only limited tools that capture fragments of the picture. Many survive by putting pre- and post-evaluations in place, gathering feedback with the intent to improve. To thrive means building a culture of evaluation where both numbers and stories matter, and where artists’ voices are woven into every stage of the work. In this stage, feedback is not an afterthought—it is the foundation of strategy and the path to stronger conditions for artists.

SELF-CARE CORNER

Article: Why Feedback Can Make Work More Meaningful

Feedback isn’t just about fixing problems or boosting performance—it’s a form of care. When done well, it reduces stress, builds trust, and reminds people their work has meaning. For managers, giving feedback is not only about accountability but also about connection and compassion—for employees and for themselves.
