Pike County welcomes Capital Dynamics and HBW Solutions Engineering Firm to expand in the community!
Capital Dynamics Solar Project
Pike County approved Capital Dynamics' $128 million capital investment that will include a 150-megawatt (MW) solar field over 1,200 acres that will bring 350 construction jobs, millions in tax revenue, landowner lease payments and other economic benefits to Pike County.
The project under development by the Clean Energy Infrastructure (CEI) business of Capital Dynamics and Tenaska. Pike County looks forward to Capital Dynamics to breaking ground in summer of 2021.

Engineering Firm Expands in Pike County
HBW Solutions is an engineering firm headquartered in Minneapolis, MN and will be placing a satellite location in Pike County, Indiana. Such an expansion will bring new engineering job opportunities to Pike County.

Elmer Buchta Technology Center
Tech Center Construction Update
Construction on the Buchta Tech Center is on schedule to be completed by December 8th, 2020. In recent weeks, the exterior of the Center has been waterproofed, an insulating roof has been installed, and the metal siding panels are being installed.

The Tech Center will include an outstanding co-working space, maker space with prototyping capabilities and the ability to do small-scale mass production, along with a training center that will cater to workforce development needs for existing businesses. The Tech Center will be the gateway into our community where we have cutting-edge innovation, highly skilled talent, start-up businesses, and a training center for employers.
