$15,000 in College Scholarships Awarded
Congratulations to the 2023 graduating classes of New Berlin Eisenhower and New Berlin West! The Education Foundation of New Berlin launched its scholarship program with the class of 2022 and is thrilled to have grown to include five scholarship programs awarding $15,000 this year!

Peter Michaud Memorial Scholar
The Peter Michaud Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 by educators at Ronald Reagan Elementary School. Led by the Student Council, students have raised funds to establish and endow this scholarship in loving memory of their late teacher to honor his love for travel and geography.

Payton Alexander Memorial Golf Scholar
The Payton Alexander Memorial Golf Scholarship honors the 2020 alumna from New Berlin West who participated in the girls' varsity golf team. Payton battled cancer for four years. She lost her fight to cancer in November of 2021. She loved golf and cared about her education. Payton always had a positive attitude, worked hard, and volunteered for many non-profit organizations. This scholarship is intended to continue her legacy and bring awareness to childhood cancer.

The Extra Lap Scholarship Fund was established in 2022 by The Radtke Family for the New Berlin West student and teammate that demonstrates going “the extra lap”. The recipient’s effort in overcoming their own personal obstacles helps maximize the team’s performance.

Ike Soccer 2022 Champions Scholar
The Ike Soccer 2022 Champions Scholarships was founded in honor of the New Berlin Eisenhower girls and boys high school soccer teams making history by winning the school’s first two WIAA State Soccer Championships.  The program will annually recognize at least one girl and one boy Ike soccer player for their contributions to the New Berlin Eisenhower Soccer program, school & community leadership, and demonstration of the values of New Berlin Eisenhower School.

The New Berlin Athletic Association provides resident youth with a variety of athletic programs focusing on the fundamentals of each sport, teamwork, and sportsmanship. In 2023, they have moved to pay it forward with a scholarship program to honor program participants and particularly its umpires and referees with a scholarship award.

Throughout the Festival, quench your thirst with a visit to the East Charity Tent and visit the Education Foundation of New Berlin Bar, we will be working with a number of our SDNB clubs to raise funds for our programs and student activities!  
The expanded four-day festival includes many family and community events, check out the 2023 Festival Schedule! We'd love to see you at our Pop-up Paint and Sip on July 4!
