NSF Grant Will Help USF Recruit Students to Fight Cybercrime
This year, the National Science Foundation is providing more than $29 million in new funding to support the development of a cybersecurity workforce. That includes more than $4 million in funding to the University of South Florida, home to Cyber Florida: The Florida Center for Cybersecurity and the Global and National Security Institute (GNSI).
Katherine Alfredo Selected as JPB Environmental Fellowship Recipient
One initiative developing a cadre of enviro-centric professionals is the JPB Environmental Fellowship Recipient of Harvard University's T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Among this year's selectees is University of South Florida Civil and Environmental Engineering Assistant Professor Katherine Alfredo.
Daniel Yeh Named as Kappe Lecturer
This year's Kappe Lecturer is University of South Florida College of Engineering Professor Daniel Yeh. American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists started the Kappe Lecture Series to promote and share the latest trends in environmental engineering.
