#2021APPAM Daily: Monday
The second day of #2021APPAM was packed with great sessions from breakfast to happy hour. Some attendees started their day with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and some gathered for the Membership & Awards Breakfast.

The Breakfast honored the 2021 award winners:

The day continued with Super Sessions, Community Sessions as well as special events like the Equity and Inclusion Luncheon and the PhD Program Fair. In the afternoon, Sanya Carley from Indiana University received the David N. Kershaw Award and gave a lecture titled "Seeking Energy Justice: Reflections on Research and Professional Impact."

The day came to a close with APPAM Past President, Sherry Glied, delivering her address entitled "Connecting the Dots: Turning Research Evidence into Evidence for Policy Making." Following the address was the Post-Pres Party where attendees enjoyed a "Sherry Temple" - very on brand.
