The 2022 APPAM Fall Research Conference has finally arrived! The conference kicked off early with a day of pre-conference workshops including How to Start Strong in Government-Research Partnerships where moderators led a discussion on approaches to developing, launching, and sustaining meaningful partnerships between government and research. Running concurrently down the hall was the pre-conference workshop Policy, Program, and Budgetary Reviews by Specialized Analytic Units of the U.S. and EU. The workshop brought together U.S. Officials and their European counterparts to discuss analytical approaches, qualitative and quantitative techniques, and more. The third pre-conference workshop was Understanding and Using the Entrepreneurship Data in the Population Survey where speakers introduced the five-year cross-sectional study about entrepreneurial activities across the nation that measures the U.S. adult population’s interest in and involvement in entrepreneurship.
By the end of the day, early registration for the remainder of the conference was in full swing! Attendees who arrived in D.C. were able to check in, grab their badges and start planning their schedules for Thursday!
