So far this week, New Product Announcements from TopSpeed, LookSmart and Spark Model covering the first 2022 IMSA competitors, Ferrari 488s in GTE and GT3 competition from 2021 and the latest Formula 1 Helmet selections for the new season.
LookSmart will also produce 1/18 and 1/43 scale resin models of a pair of AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 EVOs as raced by Alexander Albon (left) and Liam Lawson (right) in the 2021 DTM Series.
Spark Model has announced 1/5 scale 2022 Formula One Helmets for Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Daniel Ricciardo, Lando Norris, Yuki Tsunoda, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon.
Due to the supply chain issues the whole world is facing, the time between advance order deadlines and actual deliveries from the model companies and others has grown substantially - along with shipping cost.

On a related subject, acquiring accurate information on delivery dates has been frustrating, to say the least. Many suppliers are not returning our messages. In some cases, we receive information on incoming shipments that have been held up due to delays at the ports. When we do, the items in those shipments are added to the Coming Soon section at MotorsportCollector.com so at least we know they’re on the way.
