$25 Virtual Tickets Still Available for Dance for a Chance

Our dancers and instructors have been WORKING HARD for the past few weeks and are ready to DAZZLE YOU with their 1920s dance skills at this year's Dance for a Chance: The Roaring Twenty-Twenties!

Presented by Lindsay Corporation, the annual fundraising event -- YES' biggest of the year -- features a mix of community and business leaders who are learning a dance while also raising money to provide services and resources for homeless and near-homeless youth in our community.

This year's event is Thursday, October 7, from 6-9 p.m. once again at
the Omaha Design Center.

Dancers this year are (listed alphabetically):

Similar to Dancing with the Stars, Dance for a Chance pairs up dancers with instructors, who then work together over a series of weeks to create a dance, pick accompanying music and practice before competing in October.

At the same time, the dancers are working within their personal and professional networks – largely via social media – to raise awareness and money for Youth Emergency Services.

Dancers, instructors and attendees are invited to dress in 1920s attire.

Virtual tickets are still available for $25, and they include silent auction, dancer voting and live viewing via a telecast link (that will be emailed with each purchase).

If you continue to social distance and avoid big events, the VIRTUAL TICKET is a great way to SEE THE SHOW and help homeless youth.

Your donation in lieu of tickets is GREATLY APPRECIATED as our young people continue to lose housing and employment due to the lasting impact of the pandemic.

Lindsay Corporation returns as this year’s Presenting Sponsor, after several years as a YES Champion level sponsor. Medical Solutions is a first-time sponsor at the YES Champion level. Midwest Medical Transport is also a first-time sponsor as the Speakeasy Sponsor. Lund-Ross Constructors is this year's Virtual Telecast sponsor.

Learn more about our dancers, instructors and how you can help support Dance for a Chance and Youth Emergency Services at www.yesomaha.org as well as on our Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Remember, ticket purchases, silent auction sales and general donations go to help homeless and near-homeless youth in our community! Thank you!

Register for Hand Up for Housing Walk October 3 to Benefit YES

The Matthew 25 Hand Up for Housing Walk is a fundraiser with a mission to increase awareness for housing insecurities and financially support 3 local agencies including Youth Emergency Services.

“Matthew 25” is an initiative of the Presbyterian Church (USA) that encourages congregations to take on Jesus’ calling from Matthew 25 in the Bible’s New Testament.

The Matthew 25 Hand Up Mission, in collaboration with churches, civic groups, businesses, schools, and colleges, works together and supports members of our community that experience housing insecurity, eviction, substandard housing and poverty. Poor housing conditions affect health, education, stability, safety and one’s overall well-being.

Do Your Part to HELP YES and register to walk in the October 3 Hand Up for Housing mission. Register for the October 3 event HERE.

We Look Forward to Seeing You There!
