Digest #272

Craig Vachon, founder and managing partner of Chowdahead Growth Fund, a seed investment firm, has dedicated many years to investing in companies whose mission is to make the world a better place (and be profitable). In this week's digest, you'll find an entertaining podcast in which Vachon talks about investing in AnchorFree, a company that provides technology so that consumers can access a safer and more secure Internet.
Don't take my word for it. The overall consensus is that the Women in Tech panel hosted by NextSpace last week was a smash success. (One of the few men in the room told me the next day that it was one of the best events he'd been to in Santa Cruz.) An article cannot articulate the feeling in the room. Ya just had to be there.
