Digest #283

When preparing the digest each week, I don't pick a theme in advance. Instead, seemingly unrelated articles come my way and sometimes a theme emerges. This week's theme appears to be winners and honors. My favorite is the founder's story behind Musician's BASS, the grand prize ($20K) winner at the Startup Challenge. We have two other stories about Startup Challenge. On honors, guess which local startup was named one of the best big data companies and CEOs to work for?
There's more, so scroll down and start reading!
