Here's an opportunity for community members to participate in mutually-beneficial student engagement. As part of its Creative EDG2 initiative, the Baskin School of Engineering (BSOE) is looking to create stronger connections and support for community-engaged projects. "The vision is to provide real-world experiential learning for students, develop community-minded technologists, and connect the diverse courses and initiatives across BSOE to supporting local businesses, non-profits, and government projects." Professor David Lee and his Tech4Good Lab at UCSC would like to engage with community members on projects that could benefit from student/faculty collaboration, and with community members who'd like to mentor students.
